By becoming excellent in your chosen field or market, you are making a commitment to yourself to be the very best you can be. You are virtually guaranteed financial wealth because you are prepared to do what 99% of people in your field or market are not prepared to do, which is go the extra  mile.

The 1% of individuals, who are willing to go the extra mile, is always the wealthiest. They control and dominate any market they enter. Your goal is to be part of that 1%.

By practicing being excellent you will become more successful. This one act alone will bring you immense wealth. It will also help you gain recognition. You will get the respect and admiration from people in your field. You will easily form business relationships with other individuals who  are in the 1% and in the process increase your financial wealth.

How to Become Excellent

I have included a step by step method for you to start implementing so that you can become the very best you can be in your chosen field.  Moreover, the method uses the principles from a Japanese practice  called ‘Kaizen’. The word ‘Kaizen’ simply means ‘improvement’ more broadly it  means continuous improvement in small increments.

You are going to pick one specific area of your field that brings you the most value and then become good at just that one area. Once you become  good in just the one area, you choose another area of your field and become good at that also. You repeat this over and over; inevitably you will  become excellent allowing you to join the top 1% of individuals in your field.

So here are the steps:

  • Step 1: research one area of your field
    Here you begin by acquiring any knowledge you can on a chosen area of your field. For example if you were a marketer, you would research different ways on how to generate ‘customer leads’.
  • Step 2: become really good at it
    Practice makes perfect, once you consistently apply what you have learnt about your chosen area, you end becoming much better at it.What as once hard now becomes easy.
  • Step 3: pick another area and become good at it also
    Now once you are really good choose another are. Again for example, if you were a marketer you would now be very good at generating ‘customer leads’. You now pick another area of your marketing field, like ‘customer sales’ for example. You would learn how to get more  sales from the customer leads you can now easily generate. Furthermore, as a result of getting really good at both areas of your field, you increase your financial success.
  • Step 4: repeat the procedure
    Now you are going to repeat the procedure

Tips for using this method

If you are able to offer unique and original value you can literally create new markets which in turn will allow you to dominate it.

You can also have your own unique edge on things that already exist in your field for example; toothpaste was originally offered in an only white format because they valued how the white paste was associated to the whiteness of the teeth. A rogue company came along and introduced ‘flavoured’ toothpaste, which not only cleaned your teeth but provided you with a fruity taste in your mouth. Now other companies copy the   flavoured toothpaste idea and as a result a new market is created.
